At the beginning of the year, Former agent P.A Hauver turned over the office to new County Agent John Mcgill Jr. Complications in transferring operational knowledge made for administrative issues. Still managing milk and dairy industry issues, McGill Jr. openly reported his belief that working on Boy's Club progress would have to wait. However, developments in club leader abilities and roles allowed for the strengthening of individual club membership and educational impact.
While not achieving the same level of success as in years past the Dairy Judging Team remained active. Due to lack of clarity in the report, it is uncertain whether there were only three clubs active in the county in 1921 or if there were three new clubs that were started. Both Ernest Ahalt of Middletown and Chas. Remsburg had the two best, and only, records in the Corn project. The one member in the Irish Sweet Potato project area, Raymond Roderick of Frederick Junction, had the best, and only, Potato project. 14 of the 15 enrolled boys completed their Pig Fattening projects. W.H Browning of Monrovia, Carl Thompson, John Souder Jr. of Brunswick, Woodrow Souder of Brunswick and Raymond Day of Monrovia had the 5 best records in completing the Pig Fattening project. 7 purebred pigs were distributed from the county agent amongst the Boy’s Clubs through a series of county funds that allowed the purchase of better hogs. Lester Riggs of Monrovia and John Burkes had the two best, and only, Tobacco projects.
